As a Postpartum Doula, the focus is full family support
This means the focus is on the whole family, not just the mother and baby. The role of a Doula is to take on tasks that hinders intentional rest and recovery.
Welcoming a new member—whether it is your first or tenth—always requires adjusting and resettling.
As a Postpartum Doula, I serve you and your family in many different ways.
This includes light house work, such as tidying up, laundry, and meal prepping.
Knowledge in the basics of breastfeeding,
Helping to care for any older sibling(s),
And also helping care for the new-comer.
My main focus though, is to take on the "background noise" so that you can sit back, relax, slow down, bond with your new baby(ies) and heal, physically and emotionally.
With our fast-paced, busy world, mothers and their families lack the support needed for this crucial time. Postpartum Doulas bridge the gap, and come alongisde these familes to serve them.
Lets slow down, rest, and recover, together.
